The EUROHORCs organs are:
- the Assembly
- the President
- the Vice Presidents
- the Steering Committee
- the Management Committee
General Assembly
In the General Assembly, each country is represented by the heads of up to three member organisations. The Assembly elects the President, the two Vice Presidents and the members of the Steering Committee. The President or Chief Executive of the European Science Foundation (ESF) is invited to attend Assembly meetings as observers. Other guests and observers may also be invited.
President and Vice Presidents
The President, who chairs the Assembly and Steering Committee meetings, works closely with the two Vice Presidents, who represent organisations that fund and perform research. President and Vice Presidents serve for a single term of up to three years.
Steering Committee
The Steering Committee comprises the President, the two Vice Presidents and up to six other heads of research organisations, representatives as far as possible of the diverse nature of the member organisations. The members of the Steering Committee, other than the ex officio members, are elected by the General Assembly for a term of three years. The President or Chief Executive of the ESF is invited to attend meetings as observer.
Management Committee and Secretariat
The Management Committee consists of officers from member organisations and supports the work of the President, the Vice Presidents and the Steering Committee. The Secretariat is responsible for the co-ordination of the activities of EUROHORCs and is ensured by the organisation of the current President.
